Asked to predict the 2011 Oscar winner for Best Picture, the top 4 films selected by respondents familiar with the nominated films were:

  • The King’s Speech - 69%
  • Black Swan - 8%
  • Inception - 7%
  • The Social Network - 6%

When asked to select which film they felt is most deserving of the 2011 Oscar for Best Picture the top 4 were:

  • The King’s Speech - 56%
  • Inception - 12%
  • Toy Story 3 - 9%
  • Black Swan - 9%

Opinium Research carried out an online survey of 2,094 UK adults aged 18+ from 22nd to 24th April 2011. Results have been weighted to be nationally representative.
